Privacy Policy for Biodata Sorter

Biodata Sorter (“the App”) is designed to help users import, organize, and review biodata images stored on their own device.

1. Information We Process

The App may process the following information when you use it:

Biodata images stored on your device that you choose to import
Text extracted from those images using on-device OCR (such as name, age, or year)
Profile labels, notes, and status information that you manually add inside the App

The App does not require account creation.

2. How Information Is Used

Your information is used only to provide core app functionality, including:

Importing biodata images from your device
Detecting and organizing biodata files
Extracting profile details using on-device text recognition
Allowing filtering, sorting, and reviewing of profiles

All processing happens locally on your device.

3. Media Access Permission

The App may request access to device photos/media in order to:

Allow you to import biodata images from your device
Scan relevant images when you initiate an import action

Media access is used strictly for core functionality of organizing biodata images.

The App does not access media in the background without user action.

4. Data Storage

All biodata images and extracted details are stored locally within the App’s storage on your device.

We do not store your data on external servers.

We do not sell your personal data.
We do not share biodata images or extracted profile details with third parties.
We do not use your data for advertising or marketing.

6. Data Transmission

The App does not intentionally upload biodata images or extracted profile details to any remote server.

If internet access is present on your device, it is not used to transmit your biodata content.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data remains on your device until you:

Delete it from within the App
Clear App storage
Uninstall the App

Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored biodata information.

8. Security

We implement reasonable technical safeguards to protect data stored within the App’s private storage area.

9. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed toward children under 13 years of age.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be reflected by revising the Effective Date above.
